We are a small, in-home cattery located in Spokane, Washington. Delivery is available thru out the United States.
What does that mean?
Persians can fall subject to a host of diseases. This means that we only breed cats that have been fully screened to prevent genetic diseases like PKD. It also means that we are a "closed" cattery, meaning we don't allow any cats outside our breeding program into our home to prevent contagious diseases such as FELV, FIV, Ringworm etc. All kittens go to their new homes with a full vet exam and first shots.
This means the happiness of both our breeding adults and our kittens are very important to us. They are never caged and are members of our household. Kittens are socialized and loved on every day. They are well acclimated to dogs, kids and the everyday household busyness as well as being litter box trained This also means that we are here for the entire lifetime of kittens that we produce, not just until they go home to their new families. We are always here to answer questions. We want both our kittens and their future families to be happy!
Persians are famous for their luxuriously long fur, large expressive eyes and snub noses. But anyone who has ever owned a Persian will tell you the best feature of this breed is their wonderful temperament. Generally sweet and docile they tolerate children admirably, live peacefully with other pets, and are excellent lap warmers. They are one of the very few breeds of cats that were bred exclusively for purpose of human companionship. Our goal is to continue this tradition and breed only for excellent temperament.
That being said, they do require varying levels of coat care depending on their coat type (usually a weekly brushing) and often some eye care depending on the style of head structure (usually a quick daily wipe.)
